Currently we are serving:

Pure Beer Beer made in the style of Bavarian Purity Law:

Nothing but barley, hops, water and yeast.

Later, the law was updated to include other grains. Those beers that meet the moder definition, but not the earlier, are marked with an asterisk ("*")

Always On Tap

"Dirty"
Blonde Ale

ABV: 5.4%
IBU: 26

A light, crisp, Summery beer with just a bit of sass. Gently bittered and dry-hopped (or, as we like to call it, "cold hopped") with a subtle citrusy Cascade, the sweeter malt flavors really shine through.
✔️
"Jefferson"
American Pale Ale

ABV 5.7%
IBU: 75

An easy-drinking Pale Ale with a good bite, but lightly attenuated for plenty of that malty, beery flavor. Good ol' American Cascade adds a subtle citrus note.

Blends nicely into a shandy, if you're looking for a session beer.

✔️
"Leftenant Pepper's"
English IPA

ABV: 5%
IBU: 65

More evenly balanced than its American counterparts, this delicious blend of Autumn-sown barley -- together with our special blend of old world malts and hops that range from UK to Czechoslovakia in origin -- results in a full-bodied and well balanced IPA full of English flavor with a little black-pepper on the back end. We think you'll like it.

*

"Pretty Purple"
Porter (#5)

ABV: 5%
IBU: 20

Full of body, with a soft mouth feel, this solid, dependable porter has barely a hint of toasted chocolate. A family favorite since its inception, this is the 5th refinement ("#5") of the brewmaster's favorite recipe of his favorite style.

Darned-good stuff, if we say so, ourselves! (Also, it's not really purple!)

✔️
"Fur of the Cat"
West Coast IPA

ABV: 6.1%
IBU: 66

Crisp and hard-hitting, but with a smooth aftertaste. Not quite as "in your face" as some WC-IPAs, but plenty bold enough to hold up against any challenger.

✔️
"Lez Böhm"
Pilsner

ABV: 5.1%
IBU: 40

A Bohemian delight, lagered to perfection, this delicious old-world recipe is full of crisp beer flavor, with barely a whiff of fresh baked biscuits in the aroma. "Nothing but Saaz" hops gives it a bitterness that doesn't bite and its authentic Czechoslovakian taste.

Rotating taps -- when it's gone, its gone!

Beer styles through which we're working.
"Season's Greetings"
Chocolate Imperial Stout

ABV: 11.1%
IBU: 20

This rich ale, with flavors derived from a variety of grain roasting-levels, is quite chocolaty, without being "sticky sweet". As dark as an overcast Winter's night, the complexity is tantilizing, without being overbearing. It's big, it's dark, it's full-bodied and velvety, and it will keep you plenty warm this Holiday Season.

You can add a splash of Peppermint flavoring to get that "Holiday bark" flavor, or brandy flavoring for a "Brandy Beans" treat. We like it just the way it comes out of the tap, but are sometimes known to add a scoop of Marianne's Vanilla Bean ice cream to make a scrumptious float!

"Fur of the Tiger"
Double IPA

ABV: 8.4%
IBU: 99

"The smoothest 99 IBUs you'll ever drink", this beautiful, amber double IPA blends new-world hops that add a full, robust flavor without overpowering bitterness. Using a carefully selected blend of traditional and engineered American hops, the flavor develops on the palate, evolving through soft hints of citrus, pine, stone fruit and more, in a pleasant bouquet that unfolds in a delicious cascade of pure beer goodness.
✔️
Norbecker
American Pilsner

ABV: 5.0%
IBU: 15

Hand crafted by Artesians from the Sky Blue Waters of Saratoga's Pure Mountain Springs, this Red, White & Blue All-American pilsner is as refreshing as it is cold! Less Filling, yet it Tastes Great whether we pour it from the tap or you Take It In The Can. You can't buy a better beer!

Norbecker Pilsner: If You're Tough Enough!

✔️
Sassafras Tea
Hard Root Beer

ABV: 6.9
IBU: 9

An adult version of your favorite root beer that harkens back to the cherished flavors of yesteryear. Brewed with sassparilla root, this spirited libation tastes of craftsmanship, adventure, and intrigue. The enduring magic of homemade refreshments from bygone times comes through with every sip. <Clink!> "Here's to the simple pleasures!"

"Make it a float" with Marianne's Vanilla Bean ice cream!

"Heritage Ale"
English Best Bitter

ABV: 4.7%
IBU: 35

A classic ale that embodies the rich brewing traditions of historic England. Crafted using time-honored techniques, this ale boasts a perfect balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness, creating a brew that's both satisfying and sessionable. It has a light copper hue and a smooth, refreshing finish; "Heritage Ale" is a tribute to the simple pleasures of good company and great beer.
✔️
"Gentlefolk's Grandeur"
English Barleywine

   (NITRO)

ABV: 8.2%
IBU: 40

An exquisite ale that embodies the essence of kindred spirits and warm camaraderie. Velvety, boasting a rich tapestry of caramel and toffee notes, enveloping your palate in a luscious symphony of flavors.

Cheers to shared moments and the extraordinary taste of benevolence.

✔️
Ha'Firkin... Ask about our Ha'Firkins.

TL;DR: We start with a 20L (~5 gallons, a "ha'firkin") toasted Hungarian oak barrel, add some liquor (or wine), swirl it around until it's all soaked in, fill with a matching craft brew, age until it's perfect, then serve it up.

So the "ask about" part is mostly about what's available and what's in the works.

Currently serving on NITRO:
* Started with ha'firkin
* Added tequila; sloshed it around until all absorbed into the barrel
* Filled with Mexican Lager, aged for several weeks
* Removed to keg, chilled, served on NITRO.

*

In the fermentor,
Aging, conditioning, & etc.

The "Always On" Set

We're nearly always re-brewing at least one of the "above the line" (always on tap) beers, as they tend to turn over fairly quickly.
